Design Inspiration - mini canvas

Good morning!
I hope you are all well and having a nice day.
Today I am here to share with you a ‘mini canvas’ I made using the fantastic new range of Martha Stewart products and paints available at Paper Lane and the beautiful My Mind's Eye 'dolled up' cardstock paper pack.
The canvas was prepared and painted using Martha Stewart gesso and Martha Stewart satin acrylic paint –surf and jonquil. I made the flower using the Tim Holtz ‘tattered florals’ die and My Mind’s Eye ‘dolled up’ cardstock paper pack.  I manipulated the petals of the flower until I was happy with the shape and then assembled it.  Below the flower I have added a Tim Holtz ‘elegant flourishes’ chipboard die cut which I heat embossed using Stampendous shabby white embossing enamel which adds depth and texture.  The leaves and loops are made from canvas. The loops are painted with Martha Stewart acrylic paint and distressed with Tim Holtz 'walnut stain' distress ink.  The leaves are stamped using a Hero Arts stamp set. The little butterflies are cut out from this paper pack and distressed with Tim Holtz distress ink.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you have been inspired in some way.

Take care,
Hugs, Jill x
