A Final Look at Our Summer Camp Pics!

Hello dear readers!

Hope you're all having a good afternoon, despite the trying times that some of us are having lately!

We are so pleased to show you the snapshots of our 2012 Summer Camp participants on their 3rd Week , up and until their Graduation Day. Please do scroll down and share in the abundant delight that only young children can possibly have in all their innocence and wonder!

Day 7 was a record-breaking day with 17 young kids to teach! :)

Day 7 was unexpectedly hectic with the (surprise!) addition of 2 handsome young men and 2 young pretty girls! The little crafters got very busy completing the rest of their layouts as well as learning some nifty origami techniques in making pretty flowers.

Doing the summer camper's most awaited project of them all : the ADORE wordbook!

Day 8 was truly very productive and exciting as our little campers started on their ADORE chipboard wordbook which saw them learning several tips and techniques in using mixed media for craft projects. Everyone got truly busy misting, inking and gluing to come up with beautifully bright and unique albums that they will hopefully treasure in the coming years.

Cupcakes as a sweet reward for all the hard work!

Day 9 is graduation day, and each of the campers were rewarded with delicious and pretty cupcakes for all their hard work , certificate of recognition as well as a beautiful gift from Paper Lane!

May this be a beautiful start to your artistic journey!

Well done to all the good-natured, adorable, and talented young ladies who comprised our first batch of this year's Summer Camp ! Paper Lane teachers and staff members really looked forward to see you every session, as you had been such affectionate and adorable little girls!

There you go, dear crafters! We've received quite a lot of requests to make another series of Summer Classes for this month, so we'd love to hear from you if you'd like to join ! Do call us at 04-3443633 to be counted!

Thank you, crafters , and have a beautiful afternoon!

A Peek @ Week 1 of Summer Camp 2012

Good evening crafty peeps!

This is just a quick post to let you in on the fun week that this year's Summer Camp participants had experienced. Do note though that two of the photos had already been posted on our FB page, but we do know that some of you arent on FB at all so we'd like you to see for yourself the wonderful time that our campgoers had!

Day 1 was a very special day as it was the first time that we got to meet them, and understandably they were all very reserved and shy. But it proved to be no hindrance in their enthusiasm to do their project for the day, which was a Kaisercraft artist tray - and just look at the beautiful finished works!

 .

Day 2 was a revelation, as the participants began to loosen up and enjoy more of the others' company. They did a door sign/memo project , using techniques derived from the workshop with our guest designer last month. Fortunately, they had enough time to use the same techniques for a layout featuring photos taken of them with their Babas.Today was Day 3 of the Summer Camp, and it totally became apparent that the participants are so into the workshop as can be seen from all their beaming lovely faces !!! Aren't they all a beauty? This time they made 2 Ramadan cards as well as an Eidiya envelope to give to their elders to fill! ☺

Here's to two more weeks of fun workshops with aspiring future crafters !!!
