Design Inspirations - Paper Lane Inkables

Hello Stampers!

A couple of weeks left and its Christmas time! Everybody is excited for this festive season and so us here at Paper Lane. Christmas paper collections are literally almost gone.

Have you made any handmade greeting cards to send to your loved ones and friends back home? If not, then we definitely prepared something stunning for all of you!

For this month's Design Inspirations, we are featuring our very own Paper Lane Inkables - a collection of rubber and clear stamps perfect for any paper crafting projects. Our very first collection, the Humpy Holidays comes in both cling rubber and clear stamps. The holiday camels are just the cutest and handdrawn by our designer! In this Humpy Holidays sets, you can create fun and unique greeting cards to send your holidays greetings with Dubai themed that will bring smiles and laughters to any recipient.

Here are some fabulous ideas to jump start your projects and inspire you to create wonderful and unique cards using our very own Humpy Holidays Stamp Collection. We know you are going to love them as much as we do :p

How cute is this red-nosed camel? I think he's super cute! His name is Carmelo, Santa's new favourite red-nosed pet :)

The frame on the card was made from Nestabilities. The fabulous papers are from Bo Bunny's Christmas paper collection. And, no card is complete without stickles added on the camel's red bow. Simply add a ribbon to add texture to your card.

Add something unique to your handmade holiday cards, a cute christmas date tree card is just perfect to send to your loved ones back home, a reminder that you are now living in the Middle East.

The background paper was embossed with Cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder. Papers from Bo Bunny, frame was cut from Nestabilities. Adirondak ink pads for sponging technique.

Here's a super cute camel christmas wreath that you can add to your holiday cards. I just love that smiling camel face, she is just adorable!

The door is paper pieced and cut using my ever reliable Silhouette SD and the cute door knob is from Tim Holtz metal collection. The door hanger is from Making Memories Christmas metal embellishments.

Here's a sample of my favorite stamping techniques... masking and sponging, I just LOVE the look of sponging on cards!

I used Adirondak ink pads and Ranger Distress ink for sponging techniques. For cost cutting, you can use an ordinary dishwashing sponge for sponging ;-) I added white gel pen dots in the sky area.

Even if you're miles away from your loved ones, you can send this fun card with Santa and his camels to bring smiles and laughters to your loved ones back home. They will never forget you this holiday season.

Another sample of sponging and masking techniques.

Who says christmas cards have to be red and green or traditional colors. Definitely, not me and My Mind's Eye :)

Papers are from My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas, scallop punches from Fiskars, scallop frames from Nestabilities.

All the images on the cards were colored using my favorite marker, Copic Markers. Copics blendability is really amazing and there is no other marker like Copic, once you tried it, you'll be hooked too. And now that Paper Lane Inkables are here , you will soon avail Copic markers from our store.

I hope you enjoyed the card samples from our Humpy Holidays stamps and inspired you to get your stamps and play. Check out our Gallery for more creative ideas using Paper Lane Inkables.

Enjoy stamping!
